Detailed itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

You arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you are welcomed by a driver guide who briefs you about the whole safari then later drives you to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park known to have the Tree Climbing lions. Lunch is en-route as well as views of the green terrain vegetation. Later you shall check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park

Morning breakfast at 6:00 am then with your binoculars, cameras and packed lunch, leave the lodge to embark on a full day game driver along the various tracks in the park. You watch various wildlife animals as they wander around the park and these include; Lion, tree climbing lions, leopard, Cheetah, Elephant, Giraffe, White Rhino etc.

At mid-day, break off for lunch (packed lunch) then after continue back for the evening Game Drive and afterwards, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Day 3 of the 8 Days Serengeti & Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari gets you on a transfer to the iconic Serengeti National Park after delicious breakfast. The Park is known for the Great Wildebeest Migration and many wildlife animals that inhabit the park.

The wildlife animals you watch include; herds of wildebeest, zebras, and the Big Five on en-route Game Drive. After sometime you shall reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 4 and 5: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After early morning breakfast, transfer with packed lunch to enjoy a full-day game drive along the varying tracks in the vast beautiful Serengeti National Park.  where you view remarkable biodiversity and breathtaking natural beauty of this unique wilderness as well as wildlife animals like lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino, giraffe, Grant’s gazelle, impala, kongoni, topi and eland etc. At mid-day, break off to eat your packed lunch then later proceed back for another session of the Game Drive. After he Game Drive, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Eat your packed lunch at a designated park picnic area. Take in the peace and quiet of the wild while keeping an eye out for any passing wildlife.

Day 6: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip then to Bwindi Forest National Park

On the 6th Day of the 8 Days Serengeti & Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari, you have early morning breakfast then continue to the Seronera Airport to board a domestic flight by Auric Air to the Entebbe International Airport. On reaching here, board another domestic flight with Aero Link Uganda to Kihihi Airstrip then get to Bwindi Forest National Park. When you reach the park, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 7: Gorilla Trek at Bwindi Forest National Park

Today you get to trek the Mountain Gorillas at the vast stunning Bwindi Forest National Park. Wake up early and have a substantial breakfast then with requirements like a small bag, appropriate hiking boots, bug repellent, packed lunch and a water bottle, transfer to the park headquarters where you are welcomed then taken through short briefing about the conduct around the Gorillas.

You shall be allocated into smaller groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest and trek the Gorillas.

Trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on reported location of the Gorillas then later you shall meet them and in a period of an hour, stay in their presence taking many photos to keep with you.

After trekking the Gorillas, you shall transfer to the park headquarters for your Gorilla trekking Certificate then later embark on your 4×4 wheel veheicle to return you back to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 8: Depart to Kigali International Airport

Breakfast in the morning then depart to the Kigali International airport to board your flight back home.
