Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: arrive at Kigali International Airport

Start at Kigali International Airport where you meet and greet with our driver guide to transfer you to relax at your hotel. Have Dinner and Overnight. Hotel Chezlando

Day 2: drive to Volcanoes National Park

Breakfast in the morning then transfer to Ruhengeri District at Volcanoes National Park for a  period of 2 to 3 hours viewing the green rolling misty hills of Rwanda. Break off for lunch en-route then continue on transfer to the Iby’iwachu Cultural Village located close to the park. On reaching the cultural village, have exceptional cultural adventures embarking in the traditional Kinyarwanda dance and art. The adventure includes; unique Rwandan traditions and customs in relation to the Mountain Gorillas. After the cultural experience at the centre, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Trek Gorillas at Volcanoes National Park

On the 3rd Day of the 11 Days Gorillas, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour, you shall get a chance to trek and watch the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat.

On this Day, Get up early and  enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am then transfer to the Kinigi headquarters where you are welcomed by park rangers. Hand in your Gorilla Trekking Permits for verification then enjoy a cup of hot coffee, tea or cappucino then later get briefing on conduct around the Gorillas.

You are briefed about the vast green stunning Volcanoes National Park, Mountain Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and the other activities that are done in the park. After precise briefing, you are located into groups of 8 per Gorilla Trekking Group then after, you shall be led by lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave to enter the forest to trek the rare species of Mountain Gorillas.

Access the green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours depending on their current location in the forest then later after a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for one hour taking many photos to keep with you. After trekking the Mountain Gorillas, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 4: Trek the Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park

The 4th Day of the 11 Days Gorillas Serengeti & Zanzibar Tour, gives you a chance to trek the golden orange coated Golden Monkeys in their natural forest habitat.

Enjoy breakfast in the morning then transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters and on getting here have a cup of tea, coffee, cappucino then later proceed to have short briefing on conduct about the Golden Monkeys. Later follow the various trails in the forest with park ranger guides and track the Golden Monkeys for a period of 2 to 4 hours transferring from one point to another watching the Golden Monkeys communicate, play, jump from one tree branch to another.

After a while, you shall meet them and follow them while taking many photos to keep with you. After Golden Monkey Tracking, you proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 5: Fly to Kilimanjaro International airport (Stay in Moshi)

Breakfast then continue to catch a flight from Ruhengeri Airport to Kigali International airport where you leave from to board a flight to Kilimanjaro International airport in Tanzania.

Getting to Kilimanjaro International Airport, if not exhausted, go visiting places around Moshi Town then later proceed to check-in hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Kibo Place Hotel Moshi.

Day 6: Domestic Flight to Seronera Airport in Serengeti National Park

Morning breakfast then transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport to board a domestic flight with Auric Air to the Seronera Airport in Serengeti. When you get here, you shall meet our driver guide waiting for you and he shall transfer you to your lodge an en-route, watch many wildlife animals wander around their natural habitat. Day 7: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park (Seronera Region)

Have early morning breakfast at 6:00 am on the 7th Day of the 11 Days Rwanda Gorillas Serengeti & Zanzibar Tour then proceed on transfer to the Seronera Region in Serengeti National Park. The Seronera Region is Serengeti’s prime region with lots of wildlife animals that can be seen while on Game Drive.

On this full Day Adventure, yo carry your packed lunch from the lodge then as you travelers from one track to another the wildlife animals you view include;  wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras, Elephants, Antelopes, Warthogs, Giraffes, Lions, Leopards, Rhinos and Buffaloes, elands, small antelope, Oribi, water bucks, Topis, duikers, warthogs, hyenas etc.

At Mid Day, break off for lunch then continue on another session of the Game Drive which goes till late evening then after, you shall transfer to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Today, have breakfast early in the morning then with packed lunch, embark on another full Day Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching many wildlife animals inclusive of Africa’s BIG FIVE animal species. The Game Drive goes till late evening then later proceed back to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Fly to Zanzibar to (Abeid Amani Karume International Airport)

Delicious breakfast in the morning then transfer to the Seronera Airport where you board a flight to Zanzibar Airport (Abeid Amani Karume International Airport). The flight takes a period of 1 to 2 hours with Auric Air.

Landing at the Airport, you are welcomed by a driver guide who informs you about Zanzibar and the various attractions and adventures to do. After the meet and greet session, he transfers you to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort

Day 10: Horse Riding & Swimming safari in Zanzibar

The 10th Day of the 11 Day Rwanda Gorillas, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour gives you unique encounters and adventures within the vast blue water Indian Ocean where you get to swim and ride horses.

You shall transfer to the beach shore where you meet guides who inform you about the horse riding adventure and swimming experience in Zanzibar then later, they will let you on horse backs to start riding into the Indian Ocean. The horse riding and swimming experience in Zanzibar cost ranges from US $60 for 30 minutes, US $65 for an hour, US $135 for 2 hours, US $190 for 3 hours, US $250 for 4 hours in the Ocean. Day 11: Departure to Zanzibar
