Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrive and go To Kibale Forest National Park

This 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari begins at the Entebbe International Airport where you meet our driver guide who welcomes you and transfers you to the Western Part of Uganda towards Fort portal then to Kibale Forest National Park.

This journey takes you a period of 6 to 7 hours through winding roads, forest reserves and tea plantations. Lunch is en-route in Mbarara at Agip Motel. After a while, you shall reach the stunning Kibale Forest National Park passing via the park headquarters at Kanyanchu where you register for chimpanzee Tracking the next Day then after proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 2:  Trek Chimpanzee in Kibale Forest

The 2nd Day of the 3 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Tour gives you a chance to trek and watch the chimpanzees in their natural vegetation habitat. Wake up very early in the morning at 6: 30 am and proceed to the Kanyanchu Visitor’s centre where you are welcomed to go through precise briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees.

After the briefing session, you are allocated into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to track the chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours depending on the current location of the chimpanzees. After a while, you shall meet the Chimpanzees and in an hour stay in their presence taking many photos to keep as you watch them play, communicate, forage, feed, breast feed, lead etc. After being in the presence of the chimpanzees, you shall return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Depart to Kampala/ Entebbe

On the final day of the 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trek, you shall have breakfast the depart to Kampala or the Entebbe International Air[port to board flight back home.
