Detailed Itinerary of the Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe

This 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari starts with arriving at the Entebbe International Airport where you are warmly welcomed by your driver guide who takes you through precise orientation about the safari tour. After the meet and greet session, the driver guide transfers you to explore the Entebbe’s botanical gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (zoo). Afterwards go to your hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Protea Hotel Entebbe.

Day 2: get to Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast in the morning then with luggage,  embark on a scenic drive Northwards to Murchison Falls National Park situated in the North Western part of Uganda and known for the BIG FIVE wildlife animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards. You transfer along the Kampala-Gulu Highway via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with en-route lunch then after you shall reach the park and proceed on an en-route Game Drive as you go to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at the Victoria Nile

On the 3rd Day of the 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari, get up early in the morning have breakfast at 6:30 am then after transfer to the park to enjoy a Game Drive which offers you views of the early morning riser animals like Lions, Leopards, hyenas, etc as well as other animals until mid day. Later break off for lunch at mid day then continue for a Boat cruise along the stunning Victoria Nile.

The Boat Cruise starts at the banks where you board a boat at 2:30 pm then cruise to the bottom of the falls and this goes for 2 to 3 hours offering you views of the green terrain, bird species, hippos and crocodiles beneath the waters as well as other wildlife animals along the banks trying to break their thirst.

Reaching the bottom of the falls rewards you with views of the gushing waterfalls, the descending rainbow with its vibrant colors and while here, you take many photos to keep.

After the adventure, you shall return to the banks where you leave from to your vehicle which transfers you to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today, embark on a scenic drive journey Southwards towards Kibale Forest National Park known popularly for inhabiting the Chimpanzees and other primates that inhabit the green thick forest vegetation. The journey takes you a period of 6 to 7 hours with en-route lunch, views of the green terrain, birds then after a while, you shall reach the Park situated close to Fort Portal Town and head straight to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 5: Chimpanzee Trek and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Day 5  of the 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari offers you a chance to track the rare species of Chimpanzees. You get up so early in the morning have delicious breakfast then proceed to the park headquarters for briefing on Conduct around the Chimpanzees.

The Park ranger guides give you information regarding the green forest of Kibale, Primates, Chimpanzees, Red Tailed Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys as well as the birds. After the briefing, you are located into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who transfers you to the starting point where you leave from to enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours.

Follow the varying trails in the park through green vegetation watching red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys with rangers to give you protection then after you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking photos to keep.

After the Chimpanzee Tracking Adventure, you shall return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

In the afternoon, you can go on an optional guided nature walk through the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary where you watch many bird species, butterflies and other wildlife.

Day 6: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Breakfast in the morning then embark on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport o board your flight back home.
