Day 1: Arrive and Transfer to Hotel in Kigali

Arrive at the Kigali International airport where you meet our driver guide who takes you through a meet and greet session briefing you about the 4 Days Behind the Scene Gorilla Trekking Experience. After a while, you shall transfer on a City Tour around Kigali visiting the various Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market.

These include the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Nyamata Genocide Memorial and National Market where you purchase souvenir and after getting these, proceed to Volcanoes National Park located in Ruhengeri District. You shall driver through rolling hills, deviating canopies and when you reach the park continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 2: Behind the Scene Experience with Gorillas

The 2nd Day of the 4 Days Behind the Scene Gorilla Trekking Experience, have delicious morning breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters of Volcanoes National Park situated in Ruhengeri District Musanze Rwanda.

Reaching the Kinigi headquarters, you are welcomed by  park rangers who take you through short briefing on conduct around the Gorillas and the Behind the scenes Gorilla Trekking Experience. 

As you get briefed, you shall be enjoying a cup of hot coffee, cappucino, tea then after you shall be allocated into groups of 4 with lead park ranger guides who take you into the forest trek the Gorillas for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on current location of the Gorillas.

On meeting the Gorillas, you shall stay in their presence for a period of 4 hours watching the Gorillas, learning about the Gorillas, Conservation Efforts. After the Gorilla adventure, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 3: Behind the Scene Gorilla Experience (Another Gorilla Group)

Morning breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Gorillas on your behind the scenes Gorilla Trekking Experience in the Park. With skilled researchers and park rangers you continue to the forest to trek another Gorilla Trekking Group for 2 to 4 hours and when you meet them, stay in their presence for 4 hours in groups of 4. After being in the presence of the Gorillas, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 4: Behind the Scene Gorilla Trek Experience & Departure

Breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on conduct around the Gorillas on your behind the scenes Gorilla Trekking Experience. After embark on your exclusive Gorilla Trekking Experience trekking the Gorillas with skilled researchers and park rangers. After Gorilla Trekking, proceed to Kigali International airport o board flight back home.
