Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: city tour and Fly to Volcanoes National Park

Arrive at the Kigali International Airport where you are welcomed and picked up by a Driver Guide who transfers you on a city Tour around Kigali visiting the Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market. Get to learn about the tragic Genocide in which many Rwandans died and lost their lives. After the visit transfer to Kigali International Airport to board domestic flight to Ruhengeri Airport. On reaching here, proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bisate Lodge.

Day 2: Trek Gorillas at Volcanoes national park

On the 2nd Day of the 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking Tour have breakfast then with packed lunch continue to the park headquarters.

Reaching the headquarters, have a cup of hot coffee, tea, black tea, milk, cappuccino then proceed on precise briefing about the conduct about Mountain Gorillas at Volcanoes National Park and the safaris you can do here.

After a while, you are led by park guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest vegetation habitat.

Transfer in groups of 8 following varying trails in the green forest for a period of 3 to 5 hours until you meet them.

After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence at a distance of 7 meters with a camera that has no flash. Take many photos to keep with you about the Gorilla Trekking Experience. After Gorilla trekking, return to the park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate. Day 3: Golden Monkey Trek at Volcanoes

Breakfast in the morning on the 3rd Day of the 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Tour then proceed to the Park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Golden Monkeys.

When you reach the park headquarters, enjoy a cup of hot tea, coffee, milk, black tea, green tea then get through briefing about the Golden Monkeys at Volcanoes National Park.

After briefing, you are allocated into groups with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys following varying trails in the forest for 2 to 4 hours.

After a while, you shall meet the Golden Monkeys then follow them on differing trails as they jump from one tree branch to another in excitement. Take many photos of the Golden Monkeys as they jump and play in the forest. After Golden Monkey tracking proceed to the Gorilla Guardians Village (Iby’iwachu Cultural Village) where you learn about the traditional Rwandan Cultural Traditions and Customs then after return to lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Depart Flight to Kigali

On the Final Day of the 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Safari have breakfast then with all your luggage proceed to the Ubuyanja National Ruhengeri Airport to board a domestic flight with Rwanda Air to fly to Kigali International Airport where you board your flight back home.
