Detailed Itinerary of the Migration Tour and Big Cats

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

On arriving at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you meet our driver guide who transfers you to the beautiful Northern part of Serengeti National Park. On reaching the park you shall enjoy Game Drive watching wildlife animals wandering around their natural vegetation habitat.

The wildlife animals you watch include; hippos and crocodiles. Other common animals are the long-neck giraffes, many other ungulates (hooved animals) such as the eland, zebra, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle etc. After the Game Drive, you shall continue to check-in lodge/ camp for Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Game Drive in Northern Serengeti (Mara River-Wildebeest Migration )

Today have early morning breakfast then with picnic lunch, proceed to the park for a Game Drive to watch the Great Wildebeest Migration in which multitudes of wildebeest, zebras traverse the Mara River into Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara National Park.

On reaching close to the banks of the River, you seat with your cameras/ binoculars to watch the wildebeest as well as take many photos to keep.

Enjoy the views then at mid day, break off for lunch under an acacia Tree. Watch the many herds cross the Mara River North then South after some days later. Take various photos to keep with you.

After the Wildebeest Migration Experience in the evening, you shall return back to lodge/ camp for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Kifaru Tented Camp.

Day 3: Game Drive in Central Serengeti National Park

Morning breakfast in the morning then with packed lunch, transfer to the park around the Seronera Region to enjoy a Game Drive along varying tracks watching many wildlife animals wandering around their natural habitat. The wildlife animals you watch include; hippos and crocodiles.

Other common animals are the long-neck giraffes, many other ungulates (hooved animals) such as the eland, zebra, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle etc. At mid day break off for lunch then proceed for another session of Game Drive that takes you till late evening. After the Game Drive, you shall transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Kifaru Tented Camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater (Game Drive)

Moring breakfast then transfer on journey to the Ngorongoro Crater for a period of 1 hour and when you reach the crater enjoy a Game Drive around the crater watching many wildlife animals like black rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, waterbucks, kudu, hippos, hyenas etc. Lunch is enjoyed while on Game Drive on brief stop then after you continue on Game Drive till late evening. After the Game Drive, you shall proceed to lodge/ camp for Dinner and Overnight. Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park and Departure

Morning breakfast then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park located a few kilometers off Ngorongoro and when you reach here, enjoy a Game Drive watching many wildlife animals like Leopards, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotamus etc. Lunch is enjoyed while on Game Drive then after you shall get on another session watching the wildlife animals. After the Game Drive in the evening, you shall embark on departure to the Kilimanjaro International Airport to Board flight back home.
