Bwindi Forest National Park
Bwindi Forest National Park is famously known for inhabiting the rare species of Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Forest National Park is located in the South Western Part of Uganda near the border of Rwanda with 14 habituated Mountain Gorillas Groups that are trekked in four varying sectors i.e Buhoma Sector, Rushaga Sector, Ruhija sector and Nkuringo Sector.
Gorilla Trekking is the main safari adventure in the park giving you a chance to trek and watch the rare species of Mountain Gorillas with a valid trekking permit that costs US $700 per person. This trekking Adventure gives you a chance to trek and watch the Gorillas for a period of one hour as they take you through their daily activities.
Other then trekking the Gorillas, you can engage in the Gorilla habitation experience at Rushaga where you get to trek and watch the Gorillas in groups of 4 within a period of 4 hours with park rangers and researchers who inform you more about the Gorillas. You shall have a valid Gorilla Habituation Experience permit at at US $1500 Per person.
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is located in the North western part of Uganda before Pakwach Town and famously known to offer unforgettable Wildlife Safaris to all travelers on holiday vacation. The Park includes; Africa’s BIG FIVE wildlife animal species (Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Lions, Leopards)and others like Giraffes, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Hartebeests, Oribs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas etc in their natural vegetation habitat.
The Wildlife Safaris at the Park are done while seated in a 4×4 wheel drive vehicle on Game Drives that are scheduled Morning from early morning, Afternoon at 2:30 pm and Late Evening from sunset at 18:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Park is accessible by use of both Road and Air which are preferred by the travelers on safari as they transfer from the beautiful crowded Kampala City or Entebbe from where they are met by a driver guide who drives them to this part of Uganda.
Kibale Forest National Park

The Tracking process takes place in company of park ranger guides who inform you about the Forest and the various primates that are tracked in the green forest.
Tracking the chimpanzees start at the Kanyachu Visitor’s Centre headquarters where you get briefed about the conduct around the chimpanzees then later you are allocated into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to track the Chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours.
You shall later meet the Chimpanzees and in an hour stay in their presence taking photos to keep with you. You Must carry with you a valid Chimpanzee Tracking Permit that costs US $220 per person.
Other than Chimpanzee Tracking, you can enjoy the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience which gives you a chance to stay in the presence of the Chimpanzees for a longer period of time for a full Day as you follow them from one trail to another from early in the morning to late in evening. On this habituation experience you learn more about the chimpanzees as they take you through their daily activities from waking up to building new nests an experience very exceptional and unforgettable. You MUST have a valid permit which costs US $250 per person.
These are received at the Uganda Wildlife Authority an organization that issues these permits to offer you access and permission to trek and watch the rare species of Chimpanzees in their natural forest vegetation habitat.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in the South Western Part of Uganda known to offer remarkable Gorilla Trekking Adventures for all travelers from all over the world. Gorilla Trekking and Golden Monkey tracking are the most popular safari adventures carried out in the park and these require you to go to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Primates.
After being briefed, you are allocated into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you into the forest to trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours. After sometime you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for an hour taking photos to keep with you. For the Golden Monkeys it is the same although you spend 2 to 4 hours and when you meet them an hour is allowed in their presence taking many photos to keep. After a while you shall meet the Gorillas/ Golden Monkeys and stay in their presence. After tracking these you are awarded a valid trekking certificate to take home with you.
Other than Gorilla, Golden Monkey Trekking. travelers can enjoy hiking adventures along the various Mountain Volcanoes in the park and these include: Mount Gahinga Volcano, Mount Muhavura Volcano, Mount Sabinyo Volcano.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
