Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe to Hotel

You arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where you meet our driver guide who welcomes you and transfers you to visit the Mabamba Wetland Swamp where you watch various bird species as well as the well sought of Shoebill Stork then take various photos to keep. After your adventure, he dives you to hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Protea Hotel Entebbe.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park

Morning breakfast on the 2nd Day of the 7 Days Bwindi Gorillas & Wildlife Safari in Uganda then with your luggage embark on transfer to the South Western Part of Uganda to the stunning Bwindi Forest National Park. Follow the varying trails watching the green terrain vegetation, bird species as well as lunch break in Mbarara. This journey takesyou a period of 6 to 7 hours then after you shall reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Forest National Park

Today you have delicious breakfast then proceed to trek and watch the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat. Early in the morning you proceed to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then after the park ranger guide allocates you into groups of 8 with lead park guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas.

You enter the forest and trek the Gorillas following varying trails in the forest searching for Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours as you hike and descend then after a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and at a distance of 7 meters with a camera that has no flash take many photos to keep with you.

Take photos of the Gorillas as they play, forage, communicate, lead, breast feed, etc then after you shall transfer back to the park headquarters.

Reaching the park headquarters you are congratulated then later offered a Gorilla Trekking Certificate as proof that you trekked the Gorillas to take with you. After getting your Gorilla Trekking Certificate, return to your car to transfer you back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning breakfast at 6:30 am then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a period of 5 to 6 hours with en-route views of the green terrain vegetation, bird species and views of the Rwenzori Mountains at a distance. Lunch is also along the way. After sometime, you shall get to the Park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive & Boat Cruise at the Kazinga Channel

On the 5th Day of the 7 Days Gorillas & Wildlife Safari at Queen Elizabeth, enjoy morning breakfast then proceed on Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching many wildlife animals wandering around their natural vegetation habitat.

The Wildlife animals you watch include; Lions, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, Side-Striped Jackal, Serval Cats, African Civets, Herbivores, Hippopotamus, African Bush Elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, spotted hyena etc.

At mid day break off for lunch then get to enjoy a Boat cruise at 2:30 pm along the Kazinga Channel. The Boat Cruise takes you a period of 3 hours after leaving the shores and cruising along the channel watching many wildlife animals along the shores breaking thirst as well as schools of hippo, crocodiles and bird species.

Day 6: Transfer to watch the Tree Climbing Lions of Ishasha

Breakfast at the lodge then transfer to the Ishasha Sector to look for the tree climbing lions as they seat relaxed in their natural forest vegetation waiting for you to take their photos. When you reach the sector, traverse from one track to another watching wildlife animals wander around their habitat then you shall reach the fig tree region where you watch the tree climbing lions.

On reaching here, watch and take many photos as they seat relaxed in the fig tree branches waiting for you to take various photos to keep with you. Day 7: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe
