Day 1: Arrive and Transfer to Virunga National Park

Arrive at the Kigali International Airport where you meet our driver guide who briefs you about the 5 Days Congo Gorillas & Rwanda Golden Monkey Tracking Tour then later he shall transfer you to cross the border into the DR Congo. Have lunch en-route, beautiful views of the green terrain, bird species until you reach Goma Town where you relax, take a tour. After the Tour, get to Virunga National Park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mikeno Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trek at Virunga National Park

The second day takes you Gorilla Trekking hence be in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas.

Today have early morning breakfast then proceed to the park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas, Virunga National Park, Mountain Gorillas and the various Gorilla family groups that inhabit the green terrain vegetation.

This park ranger guide informs you about the safety protocols, importance of conservation efforts. After briefing, you are allocated into groups of 8 with lead park rangers.

Enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on the current location of the Gorillas. Some treks are relatively short and straightforward, while others are challenging to follow to meet the Gorillas in their natural forest habitat. After a while following varying trails, get to meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.

After trekking the Mountain Gorillas, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mikeno Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer back to Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park)

On the 3rd Day of the 5 Days Congo Gorillas & Rwanda Golden Monkey Tracking Safari, transfer to cross the Congo Rwanda border with the right documents. Proceed on journey with lunch en-route till you reach Ruhengeri District at Volcanoes National Park. Day 4: Golden Monkey Trek at Volcanoes National Park

On this day, you shall trek the Golden Monkeys as you follow one trail to another taking many photos to keep with you.

Have breakfast in the morning then continue to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later you are allocated into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who lead you into the green forest where you trek the monkeys for a period of 2 to 4 hours and when you meet them follow them on differing trails taking photos as you watch them play and jump from one tree branch to another. After tracking the Golden Monkeys, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 5: Departure to Kigali

On the last Day of the 5 Days Congo Gorillas & Rwanda Golden Monkey Tracking Safari have breakfast then with your luggage depart to Kigali International Airport to board flight back home.
