Detailed Itinerary of the Tour

Day 1: Arrive Entebbe & Kampala City Tour

Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where and meet our driver guide who transfers you to the Entebbe at the zoo (Uganda Wildlife Education Center) where you watch various wildlife animals then later to Kampala for City Tour as you transfer from one safari attraction to another. The places you visit include the King’s Palace at Bulange, Kasubi Tombs, Namirembe and Rubaga Cathedrals, Bahai Temple, Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo. After the city Tour in the evening, you shall transfer to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Cassia Lodge Buziga.

Day 2: Transfer to Sipi Falls

On the 2nd Day of the 7 Days Sipi Falls and Kidepo Safari, you shall have early morning breakfast then with all luggage.

Embark on transfer to the Eastern Part of Uganda at Sipi Falls located close to the majestic Mountain Elgon National Park.

The journey gives you remarkable views of the charming villages, verdant farmland and rolling hills as well as lunch en-route.

You shall arrive at Sipi falls after a driving period of 5 to 6 hours and after a while, you shall reach the region and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Sipi River Lodge.

Day 3: Guided Nature Walk to Sipi Falls

After refreshing breakfast in the morning with a lead park ranger guide, you shall embark on a guided nature hike to explore the three-tiered Sipi Falls cascading gracefully amidst lush vegetation. This adventure gives you remarkable views of the falls, birds and nature.

The hike to the top of the falls takes a period of 3 to 4 hours and when you reach the waterfalls, take many photos to keep with you as you pose close to the waterfalls.

Later embark on descent and when you reach the base, have picnic lunch then continue on a visit the local coffee plantation where you learn about Uganda’s renowned coffee production process from the garden to final result. After this visit, continue to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Sipi River Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Breakfast in the morning on the 4th Day of the 7 Days Sipi Falls and Kidepo Safari then have a lengthy journey to the vast Savannah Kidepo Valley National Park located in the North Eastern Part of Uganda. En-route have lunch and en-route views of the green terrain, bird species and green terrain vegetation. The journey takes you a period of 8 to 10 hours and when you reach the park, check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Kidepo

The 5th Day of the 7 Days Sipi Falls and Kidepo Safari starts with morning breakfast then transfer for a Game Drive in the park.

You shall get to the park in the morning where you watch many wildlife animals like elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and various antelope species wandering around their natural vegetation habitat.

Take many photos to keep then at mid day break off for lunch then after lunch, continue on another session of the Game Drive to the Narus Valley and Kidepo Rivers then to the rocky outcrops and acacia woodlands.

After the Game Drive in the evening, you shall drive away from the Park to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Apoka Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive and Karamojong Cultural Encounter

Delicious morning breakfast then continue to the park for a morning to afternoon Game Drive around the park watching many wildlife animals like Elephants, Zebra, Bush Pigs, Rothschild Giraffes, Eland, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Buffalo, Oribi, Lion, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Black-backed and Side-backed Jackal etc wandering around their natural savannah vegetation habitat. Get your camera, binoculars and watch these animals then later at mid day, break off for lunch then later continue on cultural encounter visiting the local traditional homesteads of the Karamojong people of Uganda.

On reaching here, they will take you through their traditions, customs, cattle herding methods then you shall explore the homesteads and later in the evening, you proceed back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Apoka Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe

On the last day of the safari, pack and carry all your luggage then depart to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board a flight back home. The journey takes you a period of 9 to 10 hours.
