Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrival to hotel

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, where you are picked up by a driver guide who takes you through a meet and greet session then later transfer you to explore the Mabamba Wetland Swamp to watch watch various species of birds. Afterwards, you transfer to visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens then later continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Laico Victoria Hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy early morning breakfast then proceed to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park situated in the South Western Part of Uganda. Follow the route via the Kampala-Mbarara Highway to Bwindi Forest National Park a journey that takes you a period of 6 to 7 hours viewing the green terrain vegetation, birds and a brief lunch stop in Mbarara at Agip Motel. After delicious lunch, proceed on journey to the park. When you reach here, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekat Bwindi National Park

Today you get to trek and watch the rare species Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat.

Have early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters where you are welcomed by a park ranger guide who takes you through precise briefing about the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. You shall be informed about Bwindi Forest, Mountain Gorillas and the various adventures you can do in the park on holiday safari.

After briefing, you are allocated into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave to enter the thick green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas in their habitat. Follow differing trails for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on the current location of the Gorillas.

Continue through the verdant green forest vegetation according to the reported location of the Gorillas then after sometime,  you shall meet the Gorillas and at a distance of 7 meters, quietly take many photos of the Gorillas in a period of one hour to keep with you. After Gorilla trekking, transfer back to the park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take back home with you. Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning breakfast on the 4th Day of the 10 Days Rwanda and Uganda Gorilla Wildlife Safari then embark on transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park located a few kilometers off Bwindi Forest. The journey to the park takes you a period of 5 to 6 hours via Mweya.

Continue on journey then break off for lunch en-route viewing Mountain Rwenzori in the back drop until you get to the Park. On reaching Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy an en-route Game Drive watching wildlife wander around their natural habitat till you check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel

Breakfast early in the morning then embark on transfer to the park for a Game Drive along the various tracks watching many wildlife animals like elephants, buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, chimpanzee and lion etc. Take many photos to keep with you while seated in your 4×4 wheel drive. After the drive at mid day, break off for lunch then later you shall continue to the shores of Kazinga Channel.

Reaching the shores, you shall embark on a Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel at 2:30 pm from the shores into the waters watching schools of hippo, crocodiles and many wildlife animals along the shores a moment very ideal for photos. The cruise takes you a period of 3 hours. After the Boat Cruise, return to the shores then get back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive in Ishasha Sector (Tree Climbing Lions)

On the 6th Day of the 10 Days Rwanda and Uganda Gorilla Wildlife Safari, you get to watch the unique Tree Climbing Lions of Ishasha Sector.

Enjoy morning breakfast then proceed to the Ishasha Sector and on reaching here, get on a Game Drive watching many wildlife animals and the unique tree climbing lions. Transfer along many differing tracks watching these lions as they sit calmly within the fig tree branches a moment very exceptional to take many photos. Get out your cameras, binoculars and watch the tree climbing lions than after late in the evening, continue to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ishasha Jungle Lodge.

Day 7: Drive to Volcanoes National Park

Delicious morning breakfast then with luggage embark on journey that enables you traverse the Uganda-Rwanda border towards Ruhengeri District at Volcanoes National Park. On your journey, have lunch en-route, views of the green terrain, rolling hillsides as well as bird species. After a while, reach Ruhengeri and proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 8: Gorilla Trek at Volcanoes National Park

On this Day, you get a chance to trek and watch the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation.

You are offered breakfast at the lodge then after transferred to the Kinigi Park headquarters where you are welcomed by park ranger guides and a cup of hot coffee, cappuccino, milk tea then later brief you about the stunning National Park, Mountain Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and other adventures you can do in the park.

After briefing, you are located into groups of 8 with lead ranger guides who lead you to the starting points then into the green forest vegetation to trek the Gorillas. Trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on their current location in the forest.

After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and in an hour stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After trekking and being in the presence of the Gorillas, you shall return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 9: Drive to Kigali (City Tour)

Breakfast in the morning then transfer to Kigali for a period of 2 to 3 hours and en-route, you shall have lunch and when you get to Kigali, go on city Tour visiting the Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market. Day 10: Depart to Kigali

Morning breakfast then depart to the Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
